‘She had dreamed of this moment, and that morning, the dream began to unfold, piece by piece: from the first button of her dress to the long-awaited long-awaited ‘I do’ she said to Konrad during their outdoor ceremony.’
Preparations with paper umbrellas, an outdoor ceremony, colourful smoke effects, a thrilling first dance with fog and sparkles, and a wedding cake served outside. That’s what 27 June 2026 looked like for Dariia and Konrad, with Lisa, one of the SL Wedding team, capturing all these moments throughout their day.
The couple booked our 12-hour package with 1 photographer, a format that works particularly well for weddings with around 50–70 guests, when the main parts of the day, such as preparations, the ceremony and reception, take place at the same venue.
In this article, we’ll walk you through the flow of their wedding day, with photographs from its different stages to show both what a wedding at Haston City Hotel in Wroclaw can look like and how one photographer can capture a full Big Day from morning preparations to the evening celebration.

Engagement Photoshoot Beforehand
Dariia had previously been a bridesmaid at another wedding we photographed in 2024, so we already knew each other. The couple also decided to have an engagement lovestory session in May, which gave them a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and use these photos as prints for their sweetheart table and ceremony.
The Big Day Beginning: Bride and Groom Preparations
We picked the 12.00-00.00 timeline for the photographer’s work. Since everything took place in a single location, it was convenient that the couple could have preparations within the same venue.
Bride Preparations
I asked Dariia for a few details to create the flatlay, including the veil, shoes, invitations, 2 wedding rings, and the engagement one.
Then, I created several solo photos of Dariia in a bridal robe, making them more fashion-inspired due to the flashlight and capturing more natural ones too.
After this, we invited the bridesmaids who had their dedicated robes of the dress code colours. Paper umbrellas were also attractive during such shots.
Once the posed photos were done, Dariia started to put on her wedding dress, with her Mom and sister helping her. I left for a while to take the groom’s photos since he was not far, so in around 10 minutes, I was back and could continue with the dress shots.
When the dress was on the bride, I could photograph more details, including those with the jewellery.
Now, the bride is ready for her first look.
Groom Preparations
Since the groom was nearby, it was simple for just 1 photographer to switch to him for a while to capture his preparation shots. As a rule, men don’t like posing that long, so we just took some classic shots of him together with the best man, which took around 10 minutes.
First Look Time
Since the bride was getting ready with only her mother and sister, she wanted several first looks.
The first one was with her bridesmaids since they didn’t see her dress beforehand.
And then, Konrad came to her room to see her, which was so emotional.
Before we left, I took several classic portraits of them together.
Going to the Couple’s Home and Park
Though most of the wedding day elements took place within a single venue, the couple also decided to visit their home since they live nearby. They had their dog at home, so we took several photos of him wearing the wedding suit, which was so cute.
Then, we went to the park, which was also not far from Haston City Hotel.
It was a very hot day, so the couple opted for a short 10-minute session, after which, we returned to the venue to prepare for the ceremony.
Decoration Photos
Before the ceremony, I had some time to take photos of decorations and details, such as the painted menu and presents for guests.
Outdoor ceremony in Haston City Hotel
The wedding outdoor ceremony at Haston City Hotel was at 16.00, and due to the extremely hot weather, it was quick so that everyone could come into the wedding hall quickly.
However, it was spectacularious and so sincere.
The groomsmen were the first to go out to the guests, giving cans of beer to everyone.
Then, the bridesmaids appeared with flower petals.
After this, there was the groom’s entrance.
And finally, the bride had her entrance with her father.
During the ceremony, the kids brought the rings in the sheriff costumes, which amazed the guests.
The ceremony itself was full of laughter, tears, and all the other types of emotions, and the coloured smoke effect at the end highlighted it even more.
Congratulations from Guests & Reception
After the ceremony, the couple had their wow-effect entrance, and then, there was a line with the guests congratulating them.
Then, there was some time for the dinner, toasts, and some quizzes at the tables so that the guests could feel more relaxed.
First Dance: Heavy Smoke & Sparkles
In the evening, Dariia and Konrad had their first dance, which was amazing, and the heavy smoke and sparkles enhanced this effect.
And then, everyone was invited to the dance floor, so the party began. The DJ used colourful lights, which allowed me to capture vibrant photos.
Group Photos, More Toasts, and Family Time
Around 30 minutes before the sunset, everyone went to the ceremony place to take a group photo and then individual shots with the couple. It took about 20 minutes, after which, everyone came back to the hall due to the heat outside.
The couple wanted to thank their parents, and since the bride’s grandmother had her birthday on that day, there was a separate toast for her.
Evening Cake & Sky Lantern Release
At 22.00, the couple had a cake served outside with sparkles on the ground.
After this, Dariia and Konrad decided to release the sky lantern.
Evening Party & Traditions
Then, the party time continued, and since the couple had traditions late at night, we decided not to cover this in photos, so I left at 00.00, while the guests were having fun till morning.
The Couple’s Reaction & Printed Photos
When the gallery was ready, it was such a pleasure to read a pleasant review from the bride. She also selected the photos for printing, after which, we prepared her box with a personal letter from us.
