The 06.06.2026 date in our calendar was dedicated to an elegant Rzucewo castle wedding in Poland. The bride said: ‘When I saw this castle for the first time, I already knew that my wedding would be here’, and this experience was truly special.
The couple booked our 2-photographer package almost 2 years ago, and we also planned a prewedding session at the sea.
We had a 12-hour wedding photography coverage and selected the 12.30-00.30 timeline for our work. This covered all important moments, from preparations to details like the first dance and traditions.
We’ll share the timing and photos from each part of the day to explain how much time you may need for specific shots. You can also take a look at this gallery in our portfolio.
Pre-Wedding Photoshoot at the Sea

The couple lives in the Northern part of Poland, so we planned the prewedding photoshoot in Jastarnia, which is also not far from the castle. It was in April, and the day was windy, but the session felt like magic and we were lucky to have the sun and clear blue sky. The couple received a beautiful gallery, using some shots for the wedding newspaper, and got used to the camera. This contact helped them minimize the stress during the wedding day.
The Big Day Begins: Bridal & Groom Morning
Preparations and the couple’s first look took place at the house of the bride’s parents, which makes them even more special.
Bridal Preparation Photos

At 12.30, we came to the place and started with details since the bride was still getting ready with her hair stylist and MUA artist. The couple already prepared all elements for the session, so we just added our creative vision to make this.

At 13.00, the bride’s hair and make up were ready, so we started her preparation shots. She had a silk bridal robe, her jewelry, and things like a paper parasol. This made the session vibrant and aesthetic.

These posing shots took us around 15 minutes, after which, the bride invited her mother and bridesmaid to take several pictures together.

After this, we stopped making posed shots and the bride started to put on her dress at 13.30. It’s usually longer than the brides expect, especially while tightening the corset, so make sure to have some extra time for unexpected issues. We also take photos during such moments, but it’s natural reportage with no interruption from our side.

Once the dress is done, we also take some posing photos for all girls together and the bride separately.
Besides being beautiful, these moments are also extremely emotional, so they may be good for a real reportage with no stages posing at that time.
- 12.30-13.00: detail photos
- 13.00-13.15: posing photos for bride
- 13.15-13.30: posing photos together with Mom and bridesmaid
- 13.30-14.00: putting on the dress & taking reportage photos
Groom Preparations
Since we were working together, we could work on both floors separately. The groom was getting ready downstairs with the second photographer.

At 13.00, we started with details, which gave the groom some time to relax, as his preparations took much less time and there was no need for him to wait around.

Preparations for men usually have fewer posing elements, though we still implement details like looking aside or holding a glass drink. Thus, we started with the groom at 13.30, and at 14.00, his photos were done.
The exact timing depends on how many people are with the groom and the preferences, but from our experience, it’s always faster compared to the bride.
- 13.00-13.30: detail photos
- 13.30-14.00: reportage posing photos & groom preparation
First Look & Parental Blessing
The bride wanted to divide her first look into 3 parts: with her father, brother, and the groom.

For the first one, her father walked inside the room where she was waiting, and it was such a sincere moment.
Then, the bride’s brother also walked in.
Our work was to remain unnoticed yet to capture these emotions.

Next, the groom was waiting downstairs, and the bride was slowly walking down for their first look.

And there were parental blessings afterwards.
At 14.30, everything was done and we all went to the church.

Church Ceremony
The couple’s church wedding ceremony in Poland was at 15.00, and the church is around 10 minutes by car from their place, but they had to come early, and extra time for this is a must.
The groom was staying at the altar with the first photographer, and the second one was with the bride who was walking with her Dad.
Thus, we captured her walk from both ways.

During the church ceremony, we don’t take too many photos so as not to interrupt the mass.
Still, the gallery has different angels and shows memorable moments to feel this atmosphere again.

After the ceremony, the couple had a grand exit at 16.00. Several guests who weren’t going to the venue congratulated the couple, and then, we had a group photo, which was over at around 16.00.
Then, we all went to the castle.
- 14.45: arrival to the church
- 15.00-16.00: church ceremony
- 16.00-16.10: group photo next to the church
Arrival at Rzucewo Castle
The castle was fully prepared for this Big Day, so the couple could enjoy all its locations, and this made this event so special.

- 16.45-17.10: post-ceremony congratulations
- 17.10-19.00: dinner
- 19.00: first dance & guests dancing
Post-Ceremony Congratulations

At the castle, there was a decorated location prepared for congratulations from the guests. The musicians were also there, creating an authentic atmosphere.
Then, the couple had their bread with salt and everyone went for dinner at around 17.10.
Wedding Dinner Begins

The day was busy, so the dinner time was a perfect option for the guests to talk to each other and the couple.
The DJ had several short quizzes to loosen up the atmosphere, while we could take these photos.

First Dance

The couple changed their outfit for the first dance that took place at 19.00.
This made the guests hold their breath for a while, and then, everyone was invited to the dance floor.

Evening Photoshoot
The weather was good, so the couple devoted around an hour and a half to taking photos, from the group ones to fashion-inspired couple shots.
- 19.40: group photo & pictures with guests
- 20.00-20.50: couple photoshoot
- 21.00-21.15: speed photos with guests at the table
Group Photo

The bride put on her white wedding dress again, and at 19.40, we took a group photo with black sunglasses outside.
A filmmaker was working with us as well, so the couple first posed still for us and then did the same shots with movement for the videographer.
Then, everyone who wanted to take photos with the couple was coming to them, so the gallery is rich in both classic and fun shots together with guests.
Couple Photoshoot
At 20.00, we started our session with the couple. There were some sports where we could still capture the sun, though it was a bit late for classic sunset photos.

However, we prefer working with a flash light, so the evening time wasn’t a problem. The couple had a paper umbrella, which made the photos so vibrant and Vogue-inspired.

The castle was next to the bay, and we were lucky to have a pink sky due to the sunset. Thus, we’ve been there from 20.40 to 20.50 to capture this.

To finish our session, we used the couple’s decorated car.

Speed Photos with Guests

At 21.00, the personal session for the couple was over and we came into the venue.
The guests were sitting at the tables, so we decided to take speed photos with everyone: the couple was coming to everyone, so within 15 minutes, the photos were done with everyone, either personally or within small groups.
Evening Time
The evening program then was divided into dancing, cake, and traditional parts.
- 21.30-22.00: dance floor
- 22.15-22.30: cake at the sunset
- 22.40-00.00: dance floor
- 00.00-00.30: traditions
Dance Floor

At 21.30, there was a dance of the bride with her Dad, and then, everyone was dancing together again, getting prepared for the cake.
Cake Cutting at Sunset

The cake was planned on the roof, and due to the good weather, we enjoyed the beautiful sunset there.

At 22.00, everyone was already on the roof, and at 22.15, the guests were holding the sparkles.
The cake was already there, and the couple had a stunning entrance, cutting this cake then.
After this, the guests stayed there for a while, enjoying the rooftop view.
At 22.40, everyone returned to the dance floor.
Traditions

At 00.00, the DJ announced traditions, which included throwing the bride’s bouquet and the groom’s bow.
Then, there were several fun contests, so we could capture more fun moments with the guests.
Preview of the First Photos & Full Gallery
Within the first 5 days after the wedding day, we prepared a preview of the first photos so that the couple could get all the important moments and share them with guests.
It was a pleasure to see that the couple posted them all, and reading a positive comment was a special pleasure.
The deadline for the full gallery is up to 3 months, but we always do our best to do it faster.
As a result, our couple was happy with all the photos, which is always important for us.

FAQ
How much time do I need to plan for a wedding photoshoot?
It all depends on your timing, preferences, and logistics during the day. In this case, we had around 30 minutes for the bridal morning, the same 30 minutes for the groom with the second photographer, and 50 minutes for their couple session in the evening. Plus, there were 20 minutes for the group photo and separate photos of the couple with the guests.
What is the best timeline for the photographer to start working on a wedding day?
You can adjust the time depending on the timeline of your day and the distance between crucial locations. For example, on this day in June, we had our 12-hour package within 12.30-00.30. Conveniently, the church was only 5 minutes by car from the couple’s house for preparations.
How to have photos with everyone when I have more than 100 invited guests?
On this day, we had a big group photo next to the church and one more at the venue. The guests were coming to the couple for personal shots too. Plus, we had speed photos at the table when the couple was coming to everyone for a picture.
Should I tell the DJ about my plans regarding photos?
Yes, it will be the best way to ensure the session won’t interrupt something important that the DJ planned. Plus, our couples often ask the DJ to help to announce gathering for a group photo or speed photos so that everyone sits at the table or comes to the couple.
Can I book your wedding photography team across Europe?
Yes, we work across Europe, including Italy, France, Germany, and Greece. Our clients are both from Poland and other countries, including couples from the USA, and you can check the price list where logistics and any other costs for these destinations are already included.
